About me…
Anna Marie Tobin (AMT) is an emerging director/writer/deviser with a background in music. They are a Directing and Film double major at Pace University—where they also completed their Honors Thesis “Cut-Sleeves” a written pilot and pitch deck for a television series. Credits at Pace include: How to Get Back to the Forest (Director/Deviser), The Apple Tree (Asst. Director), Small Mouth Sounds (Asst. Director), The Love Pill Trials (Deviser); as well as directed excerpts from The Juniors and People, Places & Things. At the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, they co-created The Book, or Dear Reader, which went on to win 4 awards at the New York Theatre Festival, including Best Director. This past summer they also directed their original play Imaginary Friends at The Chain Theatre’s One Act Festival. Their most recent work was the Pace Directors Spotlight, where they directed The Remarkably Unremarkable Crucifixion of Emma Reynolds at Mabou Mines.
